Control Z are a Nu Skool Breaks production duo hailing from
London.
Tom Petais Nicky D'Silva aka Dash and Inch met through the community
music program in London Bridge. The pairing up of these 2 DJ's
by there tutor was to be the start of something special and
their first Control Z production was unleashed. Snapped up by
DJ Mutinys Funkatech Records, "Disco and Pain" made
up the debut single that was to cause a big splash in the breaks
scene. Straight to number 1 in the Mixmag chart and straight
into the boxes of the breakbeat elite this dancefloor bomb paved
the way for a busy first year for the duo. Now with 10 releases
and remixes under there belts on respected labels such as 777
and Hardcore Beats, Control Z have had support from some of
the biggest players in the scene such as The Freestylers, Tayo,
Aquasky, Deekline, Breakfastaz, Skool Of Thought... The list
goes on. Radio support has seen CtrlZ tracks on both Radio 1
and Kiss FM as well as pretty much every specialist station
around. The duo are rapidly becoming known for their energetic
DJ sets which have rocked floors at nights such as Innovation,
Raindance, Best Of British, Payload etc. and has taken them
to spain as headlining acts. As well as that Control Z can be
heard smashing up the airwaves on both the double award winning
stations pyrotechnicradio.com and breaksfm.com.
Hotly tipped by breakspoll to be the next big thing Control
Z show no signs of slowing down over the next year. A UK tour,
gigs in Europe and UK and lots more bass fuelled remixes and
