Orca established since 1989 played a dominant
role in the early 90's rave scene and were known as one of
the best live PA's to play the likes of Fantazia, Perception
and the Spiral Tribe free parties. Founding members Darren.
Beale and Dave Maine have contributed over twenty releases
on various record labels (including Lucky Spin, Fantazia Music
etc).
In 1996 Dave pulled out to have children whilst
Darren emersed himself into the drum & bass scene under
the name Decoder. Eventually moving on to form Kosheen with
Mark Substance. In the year 2000, Dave joined up with another
talented producer Dave Grier to revive the Orca story bringing
it into the trance and techno arena… With the occasional trip
into breakbeat… Watch this space!!!
