Originally
emanating from Washington DC, 30Hz settled into Bristol UK life
seven years ago and soon became involved with the local music
scene. Following a brief excursion back to the states towards
the end of last year courtesy of the Home Office, 30Hz is now
here to stay...
30Hz produces breaks with a distinctive edge,
drawing favoured aspects (most notably) from Drum & Bass,
Dubstep, and Techno to build dance floor champions with cross-genre
appeal. His productions have been getting huge attention with
massive support worldwide by everyone from the biggest names
in breaks to the most underground Dj's. 30Hz has released
on Cyberfunk, Vertical Sound (His own label), Drum & Breaks
and Dangerous Drums and his track "No Man s Land"
has been included on the last Heavyweight Breaks compilation
on Supercharged Recordings as well as being featured in Microsoft
s "Project Gotham City Racing 3" on the new Xbox
360 . Forthcoming releases include two collaborations with
Baobinga "All up in your head" and "Know Ya"
on Supercharged Recordings as well a collaboration with October,
"Antihistamine" on MBn records.
As a DJ, 30Hz has enjoyed residencies at Bristol
parties such as Get Some! and Context, as well as at his label
s monthly events Vertical Soundclash. Often appearing in all
over the shop both live and on-air, 30Hz has gained quite
a reputation for providing the harder end of breaks and beyond.
His sound has taken him all over the UK, Europe and the rest
of the world including a recent tour of America.
With an established reputation for absolutely
clinical levels of production and engineering; expect to see
and hear a lot more from 30Hz.
